This is a dynamic and bold drawing. The strong geometric shapes celebrate the Japanese
Kimono as a modern garment full of power and beauty. It brings to mind Russian Constructivist
Clothing from the early 20 th C. In its boldness of composition, color and presentation. The
person who wears this can do anything..

This is an excellent drawing and a striking shoe design. Hands holding the foot is a simple but
elegant concept. It brings to mind the surreal artists of the early 20 th C . Artists like Magritte,
Max Ernst or Salvador Dali. The composition of form and color is well executed. I would like to
see these made up.

The photographer has given clear consideration to the conceptualisation of the image,
which has a strong sense of freedom created through the relationship between the flow
of the water and the dress. It creates a whimsical and dreamy atmosphere.
Technically the use of negative space helps convey a focus on the figure and a sense
of calm in the image. The direction given to the model helps also to convey the mood.
The quality and direction of light is strong , enhanced by the choice of time of day to conduct
the shoot.　The image would be strengthened by lowering the horizon line a little.

This drawing is a lot of fun to look at. There is a lot of wonderful attention to detail in color and
texture.
There is a suggestion of very interesting movement. Although it is a fun and dynamic design, the
colors are rich and more sober so it has a serious undertone. A well executed drawing.

This hat is architectural and could be a very bold statement by the wearer of the hat. The soft
dark veil shading the face brings full attention to the hat itself. It could be an extension of the
wearers thoughts. The imagery of roses, butterflies and lips set against dark geometric shapes is
complex and mysterious.

The image has a strong placement of the figure highlighting the fashion.
The angle used draws the viewers eye to the model. Good direction of the model is
evident- the expression and pose is consistent with the styling.
Technically the quality of light is excellent. Attention to styling details, the silver necklace and
the coat and the background details such as the placement of bollards would enable
this image to be used commercially.
